Capacities
If you can’t feel the spine and roots and calm and circle of the people who surround you, build it, become that inclusive embrace of warmth, gather up the energy and do how you do things when you love. Then attract the community whose hearts and minds roam freely in the depths of every being’s core.
If others couldn’t rise up to the mountains, then part the clouds and be that glorious sunshine you have always been foolishly groping in the uninvolved. Lace your body and soul with light. Then radiate your glow, the one that must not be waited for nor forced out of other entities.
If you’re frustrated about what you read online and what you hear on the news, create something which oozes with sincerity and hope straight from your cup. Strike the box, spark the way. Write what you want to read. Show what you want to witness. Say what you want to hear. Create until you stop breathing. Create beautiful pain, beautiful joy, beautiful longing. Create the means without finding an end.
If you ache to be somewhere but here, as far as your restless mind can wander, remind yourself of the possibility to go. Whenever, however. Just go, with or without comforts you know your half life. Keep going. Somewhere will be here. Now pay attention.
If you find others to be afraid or awkward or disappointed, soothe them with a smile and a silence. They will be lifted up, they will swirl in the galaxy as they are meant to be. Communicate the eternal love that you are. Flow with stillness as you trace the patterns of another’s suffering. It will come to pass as you meet them in the valley of understanding.
If you frequently see a stranger in the mirror, break the glass. Devour your worldly flesh until you are pure white bones. Whisper to the plants on your way home. Tell them of your fears and doubts. Then open your palms and let them fall on the ground, in between cracks on the street. Flying on the green wet field, let the wind blow them far away, for good, so that they may wither and die. After some time, they will shoot up to be bold and bright seeds again. That seed is yours. When you get home, grow it inside, beyond your pure white bones. So when you see your reflection this time, the stranger will be no more. You will have found peace.
