2019 Exhibit: #gratefullyyours

January 11 – March 14, 2019

Enter 2019.

Think about all the living and
non-living things.
Send 1-2-3 yellow blue green notes
of appreciation and gratitude
– To parents, baristas, Grab drivers,
story tellers
To the cleaners and security guards
To friends for life, and all the loves
To the horizons and peaks of emotions
To neon streets and bottles of beer
To all colors of pen, to *insert your
favorite poet/singer here poems and songs

To your boss, to the tree giving you
shade –
Fill your soul and think of them all.

The Echoes on Gratitude

There is no better place and moment to unify closing and opening chapters than in the embodiment of acceptance and appreciation.

The new year brings in winds to flip our pages anew. Are we leaning on the side of being anxious? Or are we hopeful? Do we contemplate years that passed by asking ourselves, “What have we not done?” Or do we choose to speak, “What have we achieved?” Yes, say it. You have come this far. It’s about time (as it is always the right time) to give thanks to all the living and non-living things that supported you to travel and arrive all the way here, wherever you are.

Let’s open ourselves up to gratitude and the grandiose feelings of being grateful as 2019 enters our lives. There is no better place and moment to unify closing and opening chapters than in the embodiment of acceptance and appreciation.

This coming January, The Echoes and The Local Edition Coffee and Tea collaborate once again and invite you to share this space of gratitude and widen it even more to endow endings with honor and boost beginnings.

Thank you and see you!

P.S. You can visit the #GratefullyYours exhibit in The Local Edition Coffee and Tea in Makati branch (Perea St.) from January to March. Take a peek into our first exhibit here held in 2017.
